The Jewish holiday of Purim is coming up next week. It involves, among other things, dressing in costume.
Last year I celebrated Purim in New York, so I went as Spider-man: The Musical.
“What happened to you?” people would ask upon seeing my bandages. “Julie Taymore,” I would reply.

There are so, so many things to say about these panels, and half of them would be about the shirt Tony is wearing.

The extreme heterosexuality just blinded me.

This is all very Earring Magic Ken

what the hell is in Tony’s hair in the first panel? I mean yes, that shirt is… unfortunate, even for the 80s or 70s or whenever this is supposed to be. (I guess the glasses put it closer to the 70s.) A SuperStar sleeveless hoodie is never appropriate for a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist who is also a superhero. Also, someone needs to coem smack that Burt Reynolds mustache off of him.

That’s the shades he’s wearing in the third panel, pushed up on the top of his head and drawn by someone who thinks the bridge is made out of elastic string.

If the third panel wasn’t there, I’d wonder why he has a condom wrapper stuck to his head, and then realize, “Because Tony Stark.”
