Second though: Wouldn’t a hydrodynamic craft be much more efficient and enjoyable?
My brain: Missing the point through logic.
What’s the connection between efficiency and enjoyment, though, if the goal is exploration or relaxation rather than speed?
Even if she’s not able to actually get this chair into the water unaided or use it in her daily life on dry land… I think that’s the idea she’s aiming at. She’s expanding the boundaries of what a wheelchair can do and what it can be. Making the chair function in water is probably easier than making a hydrodynamic craft she could use in day to day life.
