Why don’t you like/use the term “cotton ceiling?”

There are multiple reasons, as I said before. One of the ones that’s easiest to explain is: people I have no desire to casually hurt don’t like the phrase. What reason could I possibly have to use it that would be so compelling as to overrule that?
