Anonymous asked: have you ever started writing something and then completely thrown it out?
I do this a lot with blog posts. If you mean fiction, I’m more likely to start writing something and then not finish it due to circumstances or running out of momentum than start writing it and scrap it because I’m dissatisfied with it.
The fact that the vast majority of my writing has been electronic since before my age hit the double digits probably has something to do with that. In earlier digital ages it was sometimes necessary for me to delete old docs for space, but it’s hard to imagine that being an issue in this day and age.
